Sarah Walmsley

Sarah has had a physiotherapy career spanning over 30 years embracing various clinical settings. After several years in the public hospital system in New South Wales mostly at the Royal Newcastle Hospital, Sarah focused largely on orthopaedic physiotherapy. Sarah worked at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in England on two separate occasions prior to completing the Master of Applied Science (Orthopaedic Physiotherapy) at the University of South Australia.
She has been employed by Hunter Hand & Upper Limb Therapy since 1994 with her main area of interest the management of shoulder disorders. Sarah is also involved in the teaching and clinical education of undergraduate physiotherapy students at The University of Newcastle. Sarah completed her PhD in 2014, her research was in the early diagnosis of frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis). Sarah has presented her research findings at both national and international conferences.
